Umrah - Hajj

Umrah can be performed anytime during the year. It is comprised of Tawaf of the Ka'bah and Sa'yee of the Safa and Marwah hills enclosed in a long gallery. The Umrah (Arabic: عمرة‎) is a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, that can be undertaken at any time of the year, in contrast to the Hajj. If a pilgrim wishes to be ritually pure for Umrah, he should shed his clothing and bathe as he would after sexual defilement, if convenient. He should perfume his head and beard with the best oil he can find. There is no harm in what remains of it after Ihram.
